FIX N CHIP YOUR PIT for $25!
The Humane Society of Faulkner County, working in conjunction with Companions Spay and Neuter Clinic, is launching a new breed-specific spay/neuter and microchip program thanks to a grant for nearly $40,000 from PetSmart Charities, the leading funder of animal welfare in North America. "Fix-N-Chip your Pit for $25" targets dogs in the Pit Bull breed category, which has long been a controversial and misunderstood breed. For just $25, local pet parents can have their Pit Bulls spayed or neutered and microchipped. Also included is a rabies vaccination and 24-hour pain medication after surgery.
